Abstract

Insentif jangka pendek sering menjadi isu penting dalam organisasi. Prosedur harus dilakukan secara transparan dengan memastikan alokasi insentif jangka pendek dapat didistribusikan kepada setiap orang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi lebih luas mengenai implementasi insentif jangka pendek dan mengeksplorasi peran sistem pengendalian manajemen dalam pendistribusian insentif jangka pendek bagi karyawan Bank XYZ. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa insentif jangka pendek mampu memberikan motivasi bagi karyawannya, mendorong kerjasama sesama karyawan dan atasan. Namun, insentif jangka pendek dapat memicu tekanan, Peran sistem pengendalian manajemen perlu ditingkatkan untuk memberikan masukan yang jelas kepada seluruh tingkat karyawan.
