Ibadah Online Sebagai Perubahan Dalam Beribadah di Masa Postmodern

Abstract

Perubahan sosial sangat berpengaruh kepada masa depan gereja, pada abad pertengan perilaku social masyarakat dikuasai oleh otoritas gereja. Apapun yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat/ seseorang harus sesuai dengan doktrin gereja, jika tidak, maka inkuisisi gereja akan menghukumnya. Pada abad ini, gereja masih menjadi pemimpin arah zaman. Pada abad modern, terjadi perubahan otoritas. Otoritas dipegang oleh rasio atau intelektual. Jika perilaku masyarakat/ seseorang tidak sesuai dengan kebenaran, maka tidak dapat diterima. Itulah sebabnya teks-teks kitab suci harus disesuaikan dengan rasio, jika teks-teks tersebut berisi mujizat-mujizat, maka harus didemitologisasikan. Mulai dari sini, gereja telah menjadi pengikut zaman, bukan lagi pemimpin zaman. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. gereja perlu memikirkan secara serius pelaksaan “Ibadah online” sebagai upaya maksimalkan pelayanan gereja dan pertumbuhan gereja dan nama Tuhan dipermuliakan. Di satu sisi, gereja adalah anggota tubuh Kristus yang keberadaannya tidak terbatasi oleh ruang dan waktu. Di sisi lain, dalam sejarahnya gereja selalu erat dengan perubahan zaman. Dengan demikian, gereja harus bisa berkontekstual terhadap suatu perubahan tanpa kehilanganan esensinya sebagai tubuh Kristus. Berdasarkan hal ini, sebagai rekomendasi, gereja perlu memikirkan secara serius pelaksanaan ibadah online.
